I have always felt a close
connection to animals. As far back as I can remember
I've had a pet in my life or arms.
Growing up I did not care much for dolls, I'd rather
be in the woods running and playing with the family
dogs.
Beginning at an early age I loved cats and I
still have a big love for cats. I currently help
with strays and rescues.
This was taken back in 1977. I was
19 years old and I'm sitting with my collie I called
Shannon's Golden Whisper and a mixed shepherd called
Major
This was taken in 2001
when I was 45 years old. In my arms are Valcore left
and Reuben right.
I'm pictured here at 20 years old
with my horse called Snow. We had a very special
relationship

my Holland Lop rabbits. I raised rabbits for show
and pets for 15 years. I'm about 24
Here I'm holding one of
my ferrets. His name was Stanley. I worked for 10
years in getting Ferrets Legalized in Michigan and
in 1994 our hard work was recognized and Ferrets
became legal in Michigan. I continued to educate,
raise, show and breed ferrets for a few more years.
I was in my late 30's here.
